My QUT, Queensland University of Technology, is one of the largest universities in AU. It owns 40,000 students among 4 campuses: Gardens Point, Kelvin Groves, Caboolture, along with Carseldine. I used to stay in Kelvin Groves campus when I studied in English for Academic Purposes. In the formal master term, I start my learning in Gardens Point campus, which takes only 10 minutes walk from CBD.

When it comes to Gardens Point campus, it is small and crowded. Due to Brisbane's hilly environment, it's interesting that each building has disparity ground level. Sometimes when I walk in the ground level and then go through a building, for instance, I may be in level 3 or level 4 of this building.  As a result, I confused when I came here initially. The photo under is about floor allocation in the library in GP. It can easily be seen that the main entrance/exit is in the third level.  QUT esatblishes a fabulous wireless environment in campuses and  it provides 900MB quota per month for every student. Every student has his/her unique account to access all services such as webmail, QUT Blackboard, and QUT Virtual. All data transmission are encrypted by QUT in regards to Internet security.

Here locates the Old Government House, an unique architecture with his long history. It was built in 1860 when Queensland became a new state in Australia. In 2002, QUT accepted the responsibility for the restoration, adaption, and future maintenance. Recently OGH is being constructed in order to protect it with a perfect condition.
