My QUT, Queensland University of Technology, is one of the largest universities in AU. It owns 40,000 students among 4 campuses: Gardens Point, Kelvin Groves, Caboolture, along with Carseldine. I used to stay in Kelvin Groves campus when I studied in English for Academic Purposes. In the formal master term, I start my learning in Gardens Point campus, which takes only 10 minutes walk from CBD.
When it comes to Gardens Point campus, it is small and crowded. Due to Brisbane's hilly environment, it's interesting that each building has disparity ground level. Sometimes when I walk in the ground level and then go through a building, for instance, I may be in level 3 or level 4 of this building.
As a result, I confused when I came here initially. The photo under is about floor allocation in the library in GP. It can easily be seen that the main entrance/exit is in the third level. QUT esatblishes a fabulous wireless environment in campuses and it provides 900MB quota per month for every student. Every student has his/her unique account to access all services such as webmail, QUT Blackboard, and QUT Virtual. All data transmission are encrypted by QUT in regards to Internet security.
Here locates the Old Government House, an unique architecture with his long history. It was built in 1860 when Queensland became a new state in Australia. In 2002, QUT accepted the responsibility for the restoration, adaption, and future maintenance. Recently OGH is being constructed in order to protect it with a perfect condition.

There are 7 states and 1 terrotory in Australia. Each of them has state laws and regulations. When it comes to car plate, distinct state prints creative slogen on it in order to promote the state. In following passage, I'm going to introdce each state's car plate and style. NOTE: All pictures are gathered from Google image, and the copyrights are belonged to these original authors.
The former is a previous plate from South Australia. The latter is new plate with slogen: The Festival State

It's from Western Australia: State of Excitement

Another slogen of WA: The Golden State. In the middle of plate there's a swan, I surpose that presents the Swan river in Perth.

New South Wales is the first state established by England.

The Premier State

Victoria: The Place To Be.

On the Move

Canberra is AU's capital, the reign area called Australia Capital Territory.

Queensland is my living state, The QLD plates can easily be seen on roads.

North Territory's slogen: Outback Australia.

Tasmania: Your Natural State

In addition, the plate even can be customised by user, although it's expensive, some 'fat cats' r still willing to pay. This one is 'Minefield'.

Jacaranda is one of flowering plants in the family Bignoniaceae. It grows in sub-tropical regions such as South and Central America, Mexico, along with Caribbean. It also can be seen in Australia east. The Brisbane city has famous reputation of Jacaranda trees. The Brisbane council has used these trees to line avenues as well as to decorate landscapes.
In Septemper and October, the south semiphere's mid-spring, Jacaranda trees bloom surpringly purple flowers.Brisbane's hilly geography allows views of the city and suburbs in which the brightly coloured flowers can be easily seen for miles.
Although they only bloom last 6 weeks, they are very popular and can be found in South Africa and Israel.

Queenslander is a kind of house style in Queensland state, Australia.
Queensland state enjoys a well sub-tropical climate, which is very humid, warm in summer. As a result, dwellers lift the height of the architecture of house from ground floor to first floor in order to gain more air-circluation. The balcony and window as well as door size also are enlarged. In summer, this style of house is particularly blew by air flow and that the indoor temperature is always around 23 to 26 degrees Celsius. The ground floor is used by Aussie as garage and storage room.
